Think Big Challenge Launch

The Think Big Challenge is part of an innovative summer workshop cycle which brings together students from different schools to work on innovative ideas tackling problems in their schools. The students whose ideas are selected will have three weeks to develop and implement their solutions.
The programme focuses specifically on developing students' skills, creativity, problem-solving, leadership and project planning.
This years' Think Big Challenge will be the forth in a row. This year, in 2018, we expect more student participants than ever before to be involved in presenting solutions to selected issues.

Kite DSM Fundraising Dinner

We are delighted to announce that Kite DSM will be holding its first annual fundraising dinner on 7th September at the King D Hotel in Africasana, Sinza.
We expect to host over 100 businesspeople, public servants, representatives from NGOs and KITE DSM alumni at this event. The event will celebrate the achievements of Kite DSM but hosting a cake auction, buffet dinner, speeches, presentations and performances.
KompyutHER Careers Day
Wednesday 12th September 2018
KompyutHER is a initiative that offers secondary schoolgirls the chance to learn technical computer skills over a five-week course which covers different programmes such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. This programme enables girls to build confidence and a highly employable skill-set.
The KompyutHER Careers Day is the final workshop which occurs at the end of the workshop series. The event will host speakers from different fields who will speak to inspire and encourage the girls. Afterwards there will be an awards ceremony where a certificate of recognition will be awarded to participants who have successfully completed the KompyutHER workshop series.
Participants will also have an opportunity to share their experience from the sessions, what they have learned and what they have attained from the KompyutHER sessions. There will also be the opportunity to network with the speakers and there will be a CV clinic, where girls can receive advice.

Dream Sharing Event
Saturday 15th September 2018
This year's Dream Sharing Event will be held on 15th September 2018. This year we expect to have a panel discussion with professionals from various industries, facilitate networking in order to help students understand the necessary steps they must take to build their careers and what it takes for them to reach their goals in life.
Following this, an awards ceremony will be conducted to honour the winners of this years' Think Big Challenge.
